Familiarizing Unity


While we're still debating what assets to use in our environment,  I downloaded the Universal 3D Samples to get myself familiar with Unity. I must say I was really impressed by Unity. I always thought Unreal was the way of the future, but now I can see why some studios focus on modifying Unity to fit their needs instead. From my previous experience, I'll say Unreal is still the King of realistic real-time rendering animation/games. But Unity might work best if you can modify it to fit your pipeline.
